My 15 year old daughter has been diving with Welsh Diving for 2 years. As a parent there is no better feeling than seeing your child being part of something that she loves and watching her confidence and passion for diving grow. Martin is a wonderful instructor and we have been warmly welcomed by all the members of club and enjoyed travelling with them to Spain last year on a dive trip.

It had been a life long ambition of mine to learn to scuba dive and prior to a holiday to the Maldives my wife and I decided now would be a great time to learn. From our very first contact with Welsh Diving, Martin was friendly, professional and genuinely put us at ease while learning this alien sport. It was clear to see that Martin and everyone at Welsh Diving are so passionate and extremely knowledgable about what they do. Seeing the business develop over the years has been great also. I’ve since taken my children back for try dives which they also love. And as soon as they come of age they too will do their Junior PADI with Welsh Diving. In short we could not recommend Martin and everyone at Welsh Diving highly enough to anybody looking to start this fantastic past time.

We love Welsh Diving and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Esther has wanted to dive since she watched the Octonauts when she was three, she wanted to be Dashi, an underwater photographer. Now she’s happy not to be Dashi but still wants to be an underwater photographer… So looking around for a local dive instructor we came across Welsh Diving. We got in contact and as soon as she was 8 we got her in for a try dive and she started with Welsh Diving that Sunday and hasn’t looked back. She’s now 10 ½ and qualified PADI Junior Open Water Diver. Martin and the team couldn’t have made her more welcome. They have nurtured her and the other junior divers and involved them in running try dives, demonstrating techniques to other divers and taken them further in their skills to night diving and dry suit diving. Esther is now working towards more qualifications before she is old enough to start her adult courses. She loves going to the weekly pool sessions and is always highly put out if for some reason we can’t make it! This is all testimony 1. Of her love of being underwater and 2. My daughter Bella has been with Welsh Diving for a number of years and has recently achieved her Junior PADI. She is now undertaking her Junior apprenticeship. We are so proud of her and all this has been possible thanks to the professional yet friendly approach taken by Welsh Diving. Martin and his team have been patient, encouraging, supportive and motivational. The passion they have for Diving and sharing this with others is evident, and Bella is now a confident and competent young diver. She is learning so many new skills which will also help her in other areas of life. She enjoys being a young helper and interacting with other young people, and we look forward with eager anticipation to where her journey will take her next. There are so many wonderful places in our beautiful world that she will be able to explore in the future and it all started with Welsh Diving. My 11 year old daughter did a taster session with Welsh Diving approximately 3 years ago, where we met Martin. She enjoyed it, and decided to join. Since then, we’ve had the best experience with Martin and the team, in which she has achieved her junior PADI certification with Martin’s support, and is now helping at try dives, and working towards her next qualification.
